Life is Great Doing more through giving back

We are really, really lucky. For nearly three decades, we have had the good fortune to work with and for the best people, on the best projects, in the best communities. And we believe it's our responsibility to share the love. So, while we put our heart and soul into everything we do at JLG - when an organization needs our time, money, or our JLGness outside what is expected in our "normal" day-to-day roles, JLGives back.

"We need to actively seek out those who are born with this same DNA and give some context to their natural intuitions so they understand that a love of Legos, pillow forts and re-arranging rooms can signal a vocation - an amazing, fulfilling, and important vocation. We need to make sure that this profession is an accessible and viable career option to the best and brightest talent, wherever they're from - the suburbs, the hearts of our cities, and 19 miles from the middle of nowhere - and that it remains accessible and viable throughout their careers. Our own futures depend on it."

The 701

Work rules at The 701 - Grand Forks' first coworking space - which takes entrepreneurs far beyond their cubicles and kitchen tables to an open "un-office" environment where equipment, ideas, and knowledge are shared to ignite careers and connect the community.

Under the 1+ program, JLG had pledged to donate 1+ of our billable time to not-for-profit organizations in need of architectural services. JLG Architects has been a member of the 1% program since 2011, and has donated nearly 3,000 hours to projects that wouldn't have been built otherwise.
